Today was a rough day.

I think I will go cry myself to sleep and hope I have a new prospective on things tomorrow. I am super depressed at the moment. Not to mention very confused. I am hoping for some guidance for God.

Why can't things just be good all the time. I hate pitfalls in life. UGH!! I am going to bed.

Little girls don't stay little for very long...

Here is my lil girl walking very well. She just turned 10 months.

So I grabbed my flip video last night to record Elena walking. (She is doing so good.) So I did. Then I decided to look back through them since Rosvin wanted to see what I had recorded. So I show him and then notice there are a LOT of random 1 or 2 second long videos. Almost 40!!! So I start watching and notice that Dorian had filmed them while I was in the shower one day. Most of them are either too short to see anything or too spastic, but there are two that are so cute. Apparently he was trying to record Elena. Its so adorable. So here they are. The first one is Dorian telling Nena to "say Cheese." The second one is what he recorded of her. SOO CUTE!!!

Walking.

Elena, who is 9.5 months, has been crusing for a while now. For about 2 months. She has taken tons of step, even 5 a few times, but she is pretty nervous about doing it. So today I was sitting on the sofa and Rosvin was in the kitchen making lunch. Elena was using my knee for a support and holding onto my finger. Next thing I know she lets go, which she NEVER does. She just stood there staring at Rosvin. I got his attention and he start motioning her towards him. After about 15 or 20 seconds of standing alone she started walking towards him. She took 4 or 5 steps before she fell on her butt. I jump up yelling "yay" and clapping, while she just stared at me like I was crazy. I am soooooo proud. My big girl. :) She has been doing it all day. Watch out world!

What a scare! :(

Happy New Year!!

So anyways. We were all downstairs watching a movie and hanging out, when Dorian decided to go upstairs and get a toy. Next thing I know I hear a HUGE thud, glass breaking, and Dorian starting to cry!!! AHHHH!!! I go running up the stairs yelling for Rosvin to watch Elena, to find Dorian's dresser turned over with all of the draws out and the bottom broken. My heart was racing. Apparently, he had been trying to get this ceramic train off of the top and it fell over. It scared the crap out of him but he wasn't hurt at all. Thank GOD!! He is now banned from going upstairs alone. LOL

What a way to start the year!

A Challenge...

Ok...so here is a challenge for ALL of you. Next time you see someone on the side of the street do something nice for them. We have all seen a person with a cardboard sign with words that we are terrified to have to say about ourselves..."I'm homeless". So why not do something to help them out. Even the smallest tokens mean more than you could imagine. Something as small as stopping by with a bag of fast food. Before you judge this person look into yourself and ask what would you do if you were in the same situation. And don't think that you will never be there...it happens people. Especially in this economy. And for all kinds of reasons. So do something out of the kindness of your heart. Its amazing how good it is for the soul.

I saw a man today with a sign that said "HOMELESS, pray for me." I couldn't contain myself. I was abslutely heartbroken. If you have nothing else to give someone PRAY FOR THEM. In this economy and this time of year, please find it in your heart to help someone in need. Even if they do not appear to be. You could change someone's life.

I can't believe it!

So, tonight we were upstairs getting the kids settled for bed...reading books, spending time together and getting ready for bed. Well, Elena has been trying to walk. Taking steps here and there and standing up nonstop. So, she was holding Rosvin's hand and trying to get to me. He let go of her and she walked 2 steps and stopped then walked 3 more!!! She walked 5 steps by herself!! She just turned 9 months less than a week ago. I am sooooo shocked. She will be walking so soon. My big girl!! Dorian walked at 10 1/2 months, which i thought was early!! OMG!!! :) I am so proud!
