....

This story is just so...interesting that I do not even know what to call it.

So, the hubby, myself, and the kids were on our way home from out and about today. Well, we were just driving along when the car in front us randomly put its breaks on and in there headlights I saw a little boy walking in the street. And when I say the street I mean a VERY busy, main road. So, DH stops and I jump out and tell him "hey, lets get on the side walk so we don't get hit." I asked him where his parents are, where he lives, and blah blah. He tells me that his mom is at the store, his dad doesn't know he is out and that he is 5!!!! He tells me a few other things, but I don't think I need to share those on here. So anyways, another guys comes up to try to help me get him home, all the while DH is driving along side. After we walk the neighborhood for about 10 minutes the kid gets very nervous and confused and we decided to just call the MPs, but none of us have the number. So after a few minutes of discussion we decide to put him in our car and drive to the station while the other guy follows. We do. Then spend an hour and a half there giving statements and trying to figure out what the hell to do because they had NO reports on a missing kid. Finally, while I was giving my statement someone found the mother. So, when I was done I walk out, see her and the little boy and he immediately tells me that he wants me to meet his mom. I introduce myself and tell her that I "was one of the people that found him." She said thanks, but not how you would imagine a mother who just found her lost kid to act. I am still freaking out about the situation. I hope the kid is ok. I hope his parents are good to him. I just don't know though. There are a million things running through my head. I just hope that things are ok with him.

Crazy, huh?!?!

Wall letters

I made this for a swap on babycenter. It is an altered item swap. They came out way better than I thought, especially since this was my first attempt at something like this. I am planning to take down the letters in Dorian's room and do his also.

Treasure box

This is the "treasure box" that I made for Dorian. He loves it. And I think it came out great!!!

Update.

So much has been going on lately that i have no time for anything, including this.

I just finished my fourth class. YAY!!! I am so glad to be done with it. I seriously think my professor hates me and idk why. I do everything just like she says and she still takes off soooo many points. It makes me so freaking mad. But what can ya do?!? Not a thing.

The kids are great as always. Dorian is so close to being potty trained, I can almost...well, i don't have a good expression, but yea. Today he went the WHOLE day with no accidents. I am so glad. Mostly because that means no more toddler poop that I have to clean out of underwear. YAY for me. He did so good today, and was behaving really well and then BAM! he threw up ALL over the kitchen. I have no idea why. He was fine all day and then I sat him down to eat dinner and he wouldn't eat. Then he got sick. I am hoping it was just a fluke. He was a little congested this morning so he could have just gagged on flegm, but I really don't think that is the case. We shall see.

Elena is walking so well now. Practically running. That girl amazes me. I mean she turned 11 months yesterday and she acts so big. And she is talking SOOO much. She said "duck" and "backpack" today. (thank you Dora.) She can probably say 15 words at least already. (Mama, dudu [thats what she calls Dorian], papa, uh [for uh-oh], duck, backpack, sock, chiche, this, that, yes, mine, bath, night, bye, hi...ok well thats all i can think of but thats 1, 2....16. Wow. Thats incredible. I really need to make some new videos of her and Dorian. She loves "The wheels on the bus" lately and if I sing it or she hears it she tried to do the motions. Absolutely adorable. That is def something I need to record. I will want to see that one day. I am sure of it. I did record her and Dorian playing the other day. They are so sweet to each other and I really hope it stays that way forever. I hope they always have each other.

So...school is going. I just finish my fourth class like I said. Literally, like I just turned my final project in before I got on here. I still have a few "loose ends" to tie up, but not much. And I am really glad its over. I start my next class thursday. Its basic drafting, which under normal circumstances would be great, but these classes are so fast paced that I do not know if it will be as fun as I hope. I cannot wait to be able to just do drafting all day for work. That will be great. But anyways, this new class is going to break me financially. I got $120 voucher for books each quarter (which is 2 classes for me) and the books for this class are $95 and $157. Are you kidding me. Which mean I am going to have to buy the more expensive one out of pocket, plus the supplies, which are costing me almost $200. And there will be no voucher money left for the next classes books. UGH! I didn't think that it would be this much out of pocket. These classes are only 5.5 weeks long, so I hope that I will need this stuff for every assignment and for future classes. I mean its ridiculous. The class Ijust finish, I had to buy $30 worth of art supplies out of pocket and used them for ONE assignment. I am going to complain about that on the survey for the class. I shouldn't have to pay all of this out of poacket, plus accumulate student loans for the school, so that I use the stuff once. Its retarded.

Well, on to a better subject. I haven't had any time lately to scrap!! I am so sad. But I have got some really great new stuff and a few crafts under my belt. I made these wall letter for a lady on the scrapbooking board on BBC. I think they turned out awesome. I am probably going to dor Dorian's the same way (when I have a chance). I also mod podged this trinket box to look like a treasure box. It looks so awesome. I will post pics of both things as soon as I upload them.

Rosvin is, if everything works out, which it NEVER does in the Army, going to Ranger school in a few weeks. When that happens I am sure that i will have many sleepless nights that I can "catch up" on all of the scrapping that i haven't been able to do lately. At least it will keep me busy, if this next class doesn't. I really hope things work out so that he gets to go this time and that he passes everything the first time. I hate that he will be gone, but they keep telling us he is going to this and that and then change their minds. I just want him to get it all over with so he can be here with us. If he goes he is going to miss Elena's first birthday and mine birthday. Plus, who know what else. We are going to have her birthday next weekend so that he will be able to be here to at least celebrate. He was in Iraq for Dorian's first birthday. The Army says they care about families, but they don't. They give you what you need to take care of your family, but that you away from them. It like they think they can trade a decent lifestyle for time that you can never get back. Its not easy I will tell you that much. But I won't get into all that right now.

I am gonna get off of here for now. My wrist is hurting from being on the compu so long. (I had to redo my entire project)! I will post new stuff later.

Today was a rough day.

I think I will go cry myself to sleep and hope I have a new prospective on things tomorrow. I am super depressed at the moment. Not to mention very confused. I am hoping for some guidance for God.

Why can't things just be good all the time. I hate pitfalls in life. UGH!! I am going to bed.

Little girls don't stay little for very long...

Here is my lil girl walking very well. She just turned 10 months.

So I grabbed my flip video last night to record Elena walking. (She is doing so good.) So I did. Then I decided to look back through them since Rosvin wanted to see what I had recorded. So I show him and then notice there are a LOT of random 1 or 2 second long videos. Almost 40!!! So I start watching and notice that Dorian had filmed them while I was in the shower one day. Most of them are either too short to see anything or too spastic, but there are two that are so cute. Apparently he was trying to record Elena. Its so adorable. So here they are. The first one is Dorian telling Nena to "say Cheese." The second one is what he recorded of her. SOO CUTE!!!
