A Challenge...

Ok...so here is a challenge for ALL of you. Next time you see someone on the side of the street do something nice for them. We have all seen a person with a cardboard sign with words that we are terrified to have to say about ourselves..."I'm homeless". So why not do something to help them out. Even the smallest tokens mean more than you could imagine. Something as small as stopping by with a bag of fast food. Before you judge this person look into yourself and ask what would you do if you were in the same situation. And don't think that you will never be there...it happens people. Especially in this economy. And for all kinds of reasons. So do something out of the kindness of your heart. Its amazing how good it is for the soul.

I saw a man today with a sign that said "HOMELESS, pray for me." I couldn't contain myself. I was abslutely heartbroken. If you have nothing else to give someone PRAY FOR THEM. In this economy and this time of year, please find it in your heart to help someone in need. Even if they do not appear to be. You could change someone's life.

I can't believe it!

So, tonight we were upstairs getting the kids settled for bed...reading books, spending time together and getting ready for bed. Well, Elena has been trying to walk. Taking steps here and there and standing up nonstop. So, she was holding Rosvin's hand and trying to get to me. He let go of her and she walked 2 steps and stopped then walked 3 more!!! She walked 5 steps by herself!! She just turned 9 months less than a week ago. I am sooooo shocked. She will be walking so soon. My big girl!! Dorian walked at 10 1/2 months, which i thought was early!! OMG!!! :) I am so proud!

And a third.

This one is for my MIL. I really hope she will like it although, I am not sure because she isn't into that kind of thing. Put she is always asking for pictures of the kids, so maybe she will be happy with it. Besides, I put 8 extra pics in the pockets.

Kids do the darndest things....

This morning I was on the computer checking email and what not. Then I turned around and both kids were at the sofa, where i currently have the scrapbook stuff that i am using for Christmas. I look and notice that Elena (9 mos) has these little star stickers embellishments all over her. They are kind of like rhinestones. At first, I got mad, because Dorian has already messed up about half of the stuff that I bought to used for the paper bag albums, but when i got a good look I couldn't help but laugh. This is what I saw:

Dorian then proceeded to tell me that "Nena es boo-ti-pul". It was hilarious.

So excited.

So I have been going crazy trying to figure out what "creative" thing I want to do for my grandmother this year. I always for something great and I don;t want this year to be an exception. Then, my wonderful neighbor introduced me to paper bag albums. If you have never heard of them, google them. They are AWESOME!! So I made one!! YAY!! I love it. I hope that she does too. I think I will also make one each for my mom, MIL, and maybe my dad. We will see. Either way...I am super proud and excited!! Here is the first one i did.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays everyone!!! :)

Flooded with thoughts

Today is one of those days when you have a million things on your mind and no way to rid yourself of them. Don't you hate it?! I am the kind of person that just kind of withdraws when i feel overwhelmed and I don't want to be that way today. I want to be productive. I need to clean up, make a list for the grocery store, help the hubby pack for PRC, clean that closet upstairs that has been a disaster for months probably, do some school work, plan for Christmas, and finish the presents for Christmas also. Plus I have random things on my mind. Wow...it looks like even more when I write it down. Oh well, I guess I will get off my butt and start doing something. The sooner I get started the faster I will find motivation.
